Frequently asked questions
Clients engage us for:
Embedded labour hire (particularly within mining environments)
Engineering, design, and drafting consultancy
Short-term support or long-term project involvement
Both. As a decentralised consultancy, we typically work remotely; however, we regularly work:
From client offices
On-site (including remote mining operations)
Performing fabrication inspections and construction support
With staff located across Australia, we can supply engineers and designers where and when they’re needed.
We prefer to be involved from concept to construction so we can ensure a smooth transition through each phase of the design process, but we can also support any individual project phase, including design development, drafting, verification, certification, coordinating manufacture or inspection.
We work with both new and legacy designs. When legacy designs are not data-rich or suitable for modern workflows, we will rebuild models to align with our internal templates and standards, improving consistency and long-term usability.
Depending on the project we use one or more of the following engineering software;
- AutoCAD
- Deswik.CAD
- Inventor
- Navisworks
- Revit
- Solidworks
- Space Gass
- Structural Toolkit
All of our services are provided on an hourly basis. This provides flexibility and transparency and allows scope to evolve without the need for contract variations.
We provide non-binding estimates prior to commencing work to assist with budgeting and internal approvals.
This depends on the type of work being undertaken, for more information please visit our pricing page.
This all depends on the size of the project, before discussing details in depth no accurate timeline can be given for the completion of a project.
We can typically commence work within a few days to a few weeks, depending on our current workload and your project requirements.
Yes. We regularly support fast-tracked projects; however, expedited timelines are subject to premium rates.
